Destiny or Determination<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat do I want to be when I grow up?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A little girl asks her father that question over dinner, staring into the future like it\u2019s a giant mystery waiting to be solved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Years later, another version of that same question appears:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat am I supposed to do now?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A college graduate sits alone, staring at rejection letters and wondering if she chose the wrong path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then life gets even heavier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A man stands on the edge of a building wondering if there\u2019s any reason to keep going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A laid-off executive asks, \u201cWhat\u2019s the point anymore?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A young athlete wakes up in a wheelchair after an accident and whispers, \u201cWhat kind of life is this now?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Different people. Different circumstances.
But underneath every one of those moments is the same question:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Does my life actually mean something?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For thousands of years, philosophers, spiritual teachers, and great thinkers have wrestled with the meaning of life. Entire religions and movements have been built around trying to answer it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But maybe we\u2019ve been asking the wrong question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe the real question isn\u2019t:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat is the meaning of life?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe it\u2019s:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat gives YOUR life meaning?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that changes everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because meaning is not something handed to you by society, luck, success, or approval from other people. It\u2019s not stamped on you like a diploma or awarded after you\u2019ve suffered enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meaning is something you create.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You create it through the Purpose you choose to live by.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That Purpose becomes the invisible force that pulls you forward when life gets hard. It shapes your decisions. It gives direction to your pain, your ambition, your relationships, and your struggles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Without Purpose, life feels random.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Purpose, even hardship can feel meaningful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marie Curie once said, \u201cNothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And once you understand what truly drives you\u2014what deeply matters to you\u2014you begin to understand the meaning of your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not somebody else\u2019s version of success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not society\u2019s checklist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The truth is, most people overcomplicate this. We think life\u2019s meaning must be some grand cosmic revelation hidden on a mountaintop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But often, meaning is found in much simpler places:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raising your children well.
Helping someone through pain.
Building something worthwhile.
Creating. Teaching. Healing. Loving. Growing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meaning comes from living intentionally instead of accidentally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And here\u2019s the key:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don\u2019t discover meaning by merely thinking about life.
You discover meaning by participating in it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By acting.
By striving.
By becoming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A life without movement toward Purpose eventually feels empty, no matter how comfortable it looks from the outside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s why two people can live in completely different circumstances\u2014one wealthy and miserable, another struggling yet fulfilled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The difference is not possessions.
It\u2019s Purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take the young athlete confined to a wheelchair after a devastating accident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first, it may seem like his life has been destroyed. His dreams vanished in an instant. Everything he imagined for his future is suddenly gone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But here\u2019s the deeper truth:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Purpose did not disappear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It changed form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He may never run another play on a football field, but his ability to inspire, connect, teach, love, encourage, create, or lead still exists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His life is not over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A chapter ended.
Another one began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that\u2019s true for all of us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Life will change us.
Pain will interrupt us.
Loss will reshape us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But meaning is still available if we are willing to seek new Purpose instead of clinging to old identities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because ultimately, the meaning of life is not something you find once and keep forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s something you continuously create through the way you choose to live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the moment you begin living on purpose\u2026
life begins to feel meaningful again.<\/p>\n
